Going Home to Die” During the mass exodus from cities, I heard a migrant worker walking home say “hum garibo ko marna toh hai, toh apne ghar jaake marenge, shehar mein nahi” (the poor will die in this pandemic, might as well die in our own village rather than this city)…Just like the Salmon fish swim back upstream, against the current, to spawn where they were born, often dying the process.
